What will Bula Guinaiya be doing at this event?
Bula Guinaiya will be there with Chamorro greeting cards, vinyl stickers, art prints and island-inspired stationery. We will also be hosting TWO language workshops with our friend Dabit Taitingfong. Register for the workshops at the links below:
Workshop 1: Fino’ Chamoru for Absolute Beginners
This workshop is designed specifically for absolute beginners, with no prior knowledge required. Participants will take part in a beginner-friendly language lesson, learning foundational sounds, words, and simple phrases, as well as practical strategies for continuing their studies.

Workshop 2: Speak Chamoru at Home: Strategies for the Whole Family
In this workshop we’ll guide participants through concrete, practical steps for bringing the Chamorro language into the home. Whether you’re a parent learning the language or a native speaker hoping to pass it on to your children and grandchildren, this workshop is designed to address common concerns and offer actionable strategies you can begin using right away.
